LOS ANGELES – City Attorney Mike Feuer today announced his office has filed a nuisance abatement lawsuit against the owner of an alleged gang stronghold in Watts known as a hub for Bounty Hunter street gang activity and illegal guns and drugs. The lawsuit is part of a sustained and concentrated effort by Feuer and law enforcement partners to rid neighborhoods of narcotics and crime magnet properties across Los Angeles, including seven recent abatement lawsuits filed against properties in Hollywood, South Los Angeles, Watts, Venice and Del Rey.

“A single property, plagued by gangs and guns, can have a devastating impact on the quality of life of an entire neighborhood,” said Feuer. “My office will continue to work swiftly and aggressively to purge our neighborhoods of these headquarters of local crime.”
