Van Nuys—City Attorney Mike Feuer will kick-off a series of town hall meetings on public safety August 11th for the LAPD Van Nuys Division which serves Van Nuys, Sherman Oaks and Valley Glen.
“A top priority of my office is to connect with our neighborhoods to improve public safety,” said Feuer. “This forum provides an opportunity for a conversation—to hear our neighbors concerns and for us to share what we are doing to make their communities safer.”
Feuer will be joined by representatives of the LAPD Van Nuys Division, Deputy City Attorney and Neighborhood Prosecutor Tamar Galatzan and other members of the City Attorney’s office.
The Town Hall will address a number of concerns including the recent rise in crime, prostitution, unlawful medical marijuana shops, homelessness, illegal dumping and graffiti.
The City Attorney’s Van Nuys Division Town Hall will be held at 6:00 p.m., August 11th, Van Nuys City Hall, Council Chambers, 14410 Sylvan Street, Van Nuys.
