LOS ANGELES – City Attorney Mike Feuer today announced that his office has filed multiple criminal charges against a Tujunga man for allegedly exposing himself to women in an Eagle Rock neighborhood.
“Everyone has a right to walk in their neighborhood without being subjected to this kind of abhorrent behavior,” said Feuer. “My office will continue to fight to make our neighborhoods safe.”
Josque Alquisiras, 23, was charged with two counts of indecent exposure and two counts of lewd conduct. If convicted, Alquisiras could face up to one year in county jail and lifetime sex offender registration. An arrest warrant was issued and the defendant is currently being held on $100,000 bail.
On May 13, 2016, Alquisiras was allegedly driving through an Eagle Rock neighborhood while following a female victim as she took a morning walk. When the defendant approached the victim, Alquisiras allegedly exposed his genitals to her and then fled in his vehicle. Four days later, another female victim was outdoors, walking in the same neighborhood and Alquisiras allegedly followed her, exposing himself to her as well.
Alquisiras also has a pending criminal case in Glendale on two counts of indecent exposure for similar incidents.
Deputy City Attorney Heidi Matz is prosecuting the case.
