FEUER CHARGES SYLMAR MAN WITH ALLEGEDLY PUNCHING FEMALE VICTIMS IN THE FACE IN DTLA "HOT DOG CASE"

LOS ANGELES – City Attorney Mike Feuer today announced that his office has filed multiple criminal charges of battery against a Sylmar man, Arka Sangbaran Oroojian, who allegedly was caught on video repeatedly punching two women in the face in downtown Los Angeles.

"We will not tolerate a brutal assault on the streets of DTLA, or any neighborhood," said Feuer.

Oroojian, 30, was charged with five counts of battery. If convicted, the defendant could face up to 30 months in jail and $10,000 in fines. The next court date is March 15 in Department 51 of the Los Angeles Criminal Court Building for pretrial.
